Deadpool & Wolverine: The Most Anticipated MCU Movie of the Year

 The most awaited MCU movie Deadpool & Wolverine is all geared up to get released this very year on July 26. Ever since Disney bought Fox and owned 20th Century Fox studios, many people like myself have been worried about what a Deadpool movie would be like under Disney. The first bit of good news for lovers of Deadpool 1& 2 is that it is listed as an R-rated film. All in all, the MCU has not interfered much and has let Ryan Reynolds bring out the best in him. Reynolds is committed here and so is Hugh Jackman, you can visibly feel their love, which is something that cannot be said about most popular MCU couples in the last five years.

   It appears that Disney had little choice but to let Deadpool be true to itself. Looking back at the success of Logan and Deadpool's earlier films, it's evident that taking creative risks, exploring diverse genres, and playing with unconventional storylines can pay dividends. These aren't exactly Disney's typical moves, but Deadpool & Wolverine could shake things up for Marvel in a big way. Fortunately, Deadpool's essence hasn't been diluted since Marvel Studios acquired the rights. Messing with Deadpool would go against everything the character stands for. So get ready to meet the same irreverent Deadpool—packed with raunchy humor, plenty of butts, mayhem, wisecracks, sarcasm, and more. There are no boundaries or restrictions here. It's refreshing how they embrace what fans love about the MCU while reveling in being its irreverent counterpart.

Another significant aspect of the new Deadpool and Wolverine trailer features Hugh Jackman as a truly comic book-accurate, old-school Wolverine. The treatment of Wolverine in this movie mostly concerned me because Logan ended so well. The trailer suggests that this Wolverine could be exactly not the same as Logan, but potentially a variant because the TVA  believes this Wolverine disappoints his entire universe. The trailer opens with him in a bar, and the bartender suggests that not only is he not welcome here, but he's not welcome at any bars, which indicates that every kid knows him and is disappointed, so Deadpool is looking for that specific Wolverine. It seems Deadpool is presenting a path of redemption to Wolverine, and that will very much set the tone of the movie. I don't know if ending the Logan movie so well and Hugh Jackman announcing his retirement, including as Wolverine, is a big risk. However, be prepared for a fast ride ride.

The trailer seems to take place in the void from the Loki TV show, where the TVA prunes things and then ends up in this place where there is this creature that devours people and things. The fact that Deadpool had plenty of multiverse happenings in the comic books, and Deadpool ran around messing up the TVA timeline and, of course, the guards and dragged Wolverine into the mess is the expectation from the trailer. One of the good reasons why the Deadpool franchise is so great is because it's been able to go back to previous iterations of various comic books and movies that may have not been as well received because it's under the guise of comedy is writing some wrongs, at least interacting with some ways or even potentially embracing that person like now that maybe weren't well received back in the day. Deadpool has been doing that for years.

Hugh Jackman has said one of his primary regrets or last things that he would love to do is fight with the Hulk. I don’t know if this movie is going to allow that to happen in some way. In addition, there are so many things that they can do; they could visit Ben Affleck's Daredevil. I mean, there is just so much that can happen that could be very entertaining. And you can spot an Ant-Man helmet and a 20th-century Fox logo being pruned or removed from existence is the brilliant sarcastic thing that we are ready to see much more on July 26th. This area could potentially give so many opportunities to explore various sides of not just the MCU but the comics in general.

  In superhero movies, the villain’s plot development is crucial. The trailer suggests that Cassandra Nova, the evil twin of Charles Xavier, will be the antagonist. She possesses amplified versions of Xavier's abilities and is pure evil. Deadpool and Wolverine will be fighting against the TVA guards, adding a unique twist to their story.

  Some say that Wolverine's character might save the MCU, but it’s Deadpool who makes cinema tickets worth buying. If you're a fan of Deadpool and Wolverine, you’re in for a treat because there’s certainly more to come. The trailer looks fantastic, maintaining Deadpool's vibe and delivering exactly what Marvel needs right now: something completely different from their usual fare.
